The internet brings particular challenges to how we interact. Purely written exchanges, without hearing the voice or seeing facial expressions and gestures, increase the potential for conflict. Anonymity on online platforms can also lead to people acting differently than in face‑to‑face encounters.

Here we present our guidelines and appreciate your help in fostering a good and relaxed atmosphere in 色色fotocommunity.

We invite you to convince other users of the value of good interactions — by setting a good example and, when needed, by kindly reminding them of these guidelines.

There’s a human being on the other side

Communication isn’t always easy. Always remember there’s a person on the other side who may be hurt by your words. Conscious and considerate wording can go a long way to defuse written statements and support good interactions.

We consciously ask for nonviolent, respectful language — both publicly and in private messages.

Clear rules, long established in real life, help:

  Prefer “I feel this detail is…” or “From my point of view you could…” rather than writing that “one should have…” General one‑liner remarks like “This is crap!” or “What nonsense!” are unwelcome.
• Keep feedback constructive.
  Phrase it in a way the recipient can benefit from. Criticism should be continued with “…, because …”. Only then can the recipient understand your view and has a starting point for their own considerations.

Feedback is good!

Not every critique of your image or discussion post is a criticism of you as a person. Don’t take critical feedback personally. See it as a chance to reflect on your work and yourself.

Downloading images from 色色fotocommunity

To make unauthorized use of photos more difficult and better protect members’ images, saving photos via right‑click is not possible on 色色fotocommunity. Every image is protected by copyright and may not be reused without the photographer’s consent.

If you would like to save and use a photo, we recommend signing up for 色色fotocommunity free of charge. You can then contact the photographer via internal message to request permission.

Please note that it cannot be fully prevented that someone takes an image from the internet — this applies to any website. There are services that search the web for unauthorized copies of your images. For more information, please contact such providers directly. For hobby photography and images that are not highly paid, such measures are usually unnecessary.

Which photos may be uploaded to 色色fotocommunity?

You may only upload photos or AI-generated images that you have photographed or created yourself. Content created by third parties may not be published.

Not permitted is the upload of pornographic, violence-glorifying, or politically extremist material. German law applies.

Depiction of persons

The 色色fotocommunity sees itself as a community based on respect and mutual appreciation. This also applies to the depiction of persons in photographic and AI-generated images.
Images that portray individuals in a degrading manner or reduce them to stereotypical, derogatory, or sexist roles are not permitted.

A depiction may be considered inadmissible in particular if

• persons are deliberately exposed or publicly humiliated,
• people are primarily reduced to specific physical features or their sexuality,
• recognizable situations of vulnerability or power imbalance are exploited,
• or the overall effect of the image suggests a dehumanizing or discriminatory message.

What is decisive is not solely the intended message or an artistic approach, but the objective effect of the image. This principle applies to all areas of the 色色fotocommunity.

By uploading a photo or AI-generated image, you make it publicly available for discussion.

Therefore, consider carefully which image you select. It is not necessary to publish only perfect works. Even an unsuccessful image may be uploaded in the spirit of the 色色fotocommunity if you openly ask for constructive feedback. In all cases, however, you must be prepared for a public discussion and accept objective criticism.

Guidelines for AI images on 色色fotocommunity

In recent years, photos have lost credibility. They can be manipulated too easily — so “I see it in a photo, therefore it happened” no longer holds. AI now allows many ways to create images that are realistic and often indistinguishable from real photos, yet show invented scenes. Authenticity no longer matters; photorealistic motifs and situations can be freely invented.

This brings great artistic freedom as well as great responsibility, reflected in our upload guidelines for AI‑generated motifs.

Guidelines for AI‑generated images on 色色fotocommunity

• AI‑generated images created by prompts (text input) referring to real people, places, copyrighted works, brands or property, or that depend on them, are not permitted. Publication requires consent of the depicted person or appropriate permission, which may be requested.
  Note: Motifs that are not covered by panorama freedom in the real world or require special photo/publication permissions may not be freely used in AI images either (illuminated Eiffel Tower, Hundertwasser House, time‑limited artworks, Atomium in Brussels, motifs on private property, etc.).
• Even if copyrights on referenced works have expired, ensure that no third‑party rights are infringed. This includes transfers of publication or usage rights or rights to cultural heritage, such as museum or owner rights. If you’re unsure whether your AI image could infringe third‑party rights, don’t publish it.
  If you want to use, for example, the motif of the “Mona Lisa” for an AI image, you must clarify the legal parameters of how far such use and publication are permitted.
• AI‑generated images that imitate protected appearances or brands, or otherwise infringe third‑party rights, including imitation or replication of their content, are not permitted.
• AI images that discriminate against people, groups, minorities or ethnicities based on religion, gender (sexism), nationality, sexual orientation, profession, etc. are not allowed and will be removed.
• The 色色fotocommunity terms and the nude image guidelines also apply to AI images.

Publishing AI images on 色色fotocommunity — what we ask of you

To allow all viewers to clearly and transparently assess whether an image was photographed or created by AI, you should:

• publish the AI image in the appropriate AI section. This also applies to AI nude images.
• label the image as AI‑generated in the title and/or description.
• provide information about how the image was created in the description and in the tags.
• avoid titles or descriptions that suggest a real situation.

Guidelines for nude photos on 色色fotocommunity

No freedom without responsibility

The 色色fotocommunity sees itself as a space of freedom – also in terms of photographic expression. At the same time, the following applies: No freedom without responsibility. Our responsibility begins where the protection of minors and the preservation of human dignity are affected.

The nude section of the 色色fotocommunity is a protected area that is accessible exclusively to Premium members. It serves to present and discuss nude photography within a clearly defined, responsible framework.

We are aware that images are perceived differently. What may be self-evident for one person can be irritating or boundary-crossing for others. This diversity of perception is part of living together – online as well as offline. Nevertheless, a community needs clear rules to provide orientation and ensure protection.

The following guidelines define this framework. They are enforced by the 色色fotocommunity. Ideally, you should also check before uploading whether your image complies with these rules.

Basic understanding of the rating

The 色色fotocommunity is not an erotic platform and not an art platform.

Images in the nude section are not assessed based on artistic criteria. The decisive factors are exclusively:

• the objectively visible image content,
• the intention of the depiction,
• and the effect the image typically produces.

What matters is not what an image seeks to explain or justify, but how it is perceived. In case of doubt, a justified assumption of a rule violation is sufficient for the operator to intervene. We reserve the right to make decisions on a case-by-case basis.

The guidelines in detail

Depiction of genitalia

Nudity is generally permitted in the nude section. However, depictions of genitalia are not permitted if they are shown in a dominant or focused manner.

A genital organ is considered dominant if it:

• is clearly visible and not obscured, and
• plays a central role in the image through pose, perspective, composition, or visual guidance, and
• significantly shapes the overall effect of the photograph.

It is irrelevant,

• whether the depiction is frontal or lateral,
• whether the model is standing, sitting, or lying,
• or in what environment the photo was taken.

The following are explicitly not permitted:

• frontal or lateral depictions with openly visible genitalia,
• poses or perspectives that deliberately draw attention to the genital area,
• depictions of erections,
• the depiction of open female genitalia,
• the explicit depiction of the anus.

Semen and substitute fluids

The depiction of semen as well as semen-like or substitute fluids is not permitted.
What matters is the effect of the image, not the actual substance.

Dildos and substitute objects

Dildos and substitute objects are not permitted as image elements if they:

• are depicted as being inserted,
• interact with the mouth or tongue,
• touch the body in the genital area,
• or create the impression of insertion.

Here as well, the visible impression is decisive, not any possible explanation.

Sexual acts

Explicit sexual acts are not permitted. This includes penetration in particular.
Manipulation of genital organs using objects is also not permitted.

Permitted are:

• suggestive depictions (“implied imagery”),
• heterosexual and homosexual scenes of caressing, provided they do not involve the genital area and do not develop into an explicit act.

Bondage

Bondage ist zulässig, wenn es sich um Soft- oder Dekobondage handelt.
Nicht zugelassen sind Darstellungen, bei denen erkennbar:

• Schmerzen,
• Schädigungen,
• oder reale Zwangssituationen im Mittelpunkt stehen.

Extreme Formen von Bondage, bei denen die Fesselung selbst als schmerzhaft oder gefährlich wirkt, sind nicht erlaubt.

SM depictions

Depictions from the SM context may be permitted if:

• a clear staging is recognizable and
• no real humiliation, torment, or degradation is depicted.

Not permitted are:

• depictions of real humiliation or violence,
• pure documentation without a staging distance,
• practices involving permanent harm (e.g. cutting, branding, extreme piercings, needles in a sexual context),
• life-threatening practices (e.g. breath control, strangulation, execution scenarios).

In principle, the assessment is guided by the principle of safe, sane, consensual. However, the decisive factor remains the visible image content and its effect.

Potentially harmful content

Not permitted are depictions of:

• fecal play,
• splatter scenarios.

Advertising

The misuse of 色色fotocommunity as a direct or indirect advertising platform for:

• professional erotic services,
• pay sites,
• SM or fetish platforms

is not permitted.

Web addresses in the image or in the image description are not permitted and will be removed.

Age of the depicted persons

The protection of minors has the highest priority.

Not permitted are:

• photos depicting minors nude or with an erotic or sexual reference,
• advertising modeling activities by minors,
• the use of the designation “model” in the username by minors.

A justified assumption that a depicted person is under the age of 18 is sufficient to warrant intervention.

Violence

The Terms and Conditions of 色色fotocommunity as well as applicable law apply.
A photographic engagement with the topic of violence may be possible.
However, depictions of real violence are not permitted.

Principle: No pornography

Shared responsibility

The 色色fotocommunity is a community. These guidelines serve to maintain a respectful, protected, and clearly defined space for nude photography.
